Introduction
CAWS Series AWSs, as full-automatic meteorological observation systems, brilliantly performs functional of collecting, storing, processing and transmitting a range of meteorological data including temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind direction, wind speed, air pressure, evaporation, radiation, soil temperature, soil moisture, visibility, present weather, solid precipitation, hydrological elements and maritime meteorological elements, etc totally satisfying various observation needs. CAWSs consist of high-accurate data logger, power supply system, intelligent communication module and sensors. Based on an advanced core collecting module, data collecting system is greatly stable and has high-capacity storage function. Multi-modes of power supply including DC, AC and solar energy, guarantees high continuity and stability of CAWSs in operation. Excellent lightning protection and anti-interference units are equipped. All communication modes are compatible such as GPRS, GSM, CDMA, SMS, cable and satellite, etc.

CAWS AWSs suit to be automatically and continuously operated in unmanned and severe environment without daily maintenance. Exoteric design of module combined is adopted into both hardware and software and flexible combination allows certain extended function. CAWS AWSs have been incessantly improved and applied in many areas such as meteorology, hydrology, agriculture, traffic, disaster warning, forest fire prevention, ecological monitoring, island monitoring, environment protection, and energy, etc.
