CMA to strengthen meteorological standardization

On July 26 China Meteorological Administration (CMA) distributed the View on Strengthening Meteorological Standardization Work of CMA, which says CMA will establish a coordinated and unified meteorological standardization system that covers all aspects of meteorological field with 3 to 5 years' effort.

The View put forward requirements to strengthen top-level design, improve standardization system, and step up pace, enhance technology innovation and quality, strengthen talent training and hasten to integrate with the international norms. The document asks to strengthen publicity and implementation and build up information service platform to enhance service function. (Jul. 3)
