This year’s 18th typhoon Talim is expected to make landfall on central and northern Zhejiang coast on the evening of September 14 or September 15. For this reason, China Meteorological Administration (CMA) activated a level three emergency response to Typhoon Talim at 6:30 p.m. on September 12. It is required that the relevant meteorological sectors attached to CMA enter the emergency position immediately and put corresponding meteorological services in place. The potential affected areas such as Zhejiang, Fujian, Shanghai, Guangdong, and Hainan are expected to sustain or adjust the corresponding emergency state according to local realities.
