Stronger cold air hit the Yellow-Huaihe basin, North and Northeast China

Influenced by stronger cold air, the temperature of central-eastern Inner Mongolia, North China, the Yellow-Huaihe basin and Northeast China will drop by 6~8℃. In eastern Inner Mongolia and Northeast China, the temperature will fall 10~14℃. Scale 4-6 winds will blow these areas. In addition, western South of the Yangtze River and northern South China will experience 6℃ falling temperature.

The National Meteorological Center continues to issue yellow warning of heavy fog at 6:00 a.m. on December 3. From this morning of December 3, heavy fog will shroud southern Hebei, western and eastern Shandong, southern Anhui, Jiangsu, Shanghai, central-northern Zhejiang, eastern Hubei, eastern and southern Hunan, central Jiangxi and northern Fujian. The visibility of western and eastern Shandong, central Henan, southern Jiangsu, northern Zhejiang, southern Hunan and northern Fujian will be less than 500 meters even 200 meters. On morning of December 3, light to moderate haze will hit southern North China and northwestern Yellow-Huaihe Basin.

From December 3 to morning of December 4, South Xinjiang Basin, central-southeastern Inner Mongolia, central-eastern Gansu, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, western Henan, Hebei, Beijing and Tianjin will see blowing dust or floating sand.

From December 3 to 6, more overcast and rain will hit Yangtze-Huaihe basin, South of the Yangtze River and central-northern South China. (Dec.3)
