Heavy fog and haze shroud central-eastern parts of China

On December 20, light to moderate haze will hit central-southern North China, the Yellow-Huaihe basin, Fen-Wei Plain. From December 21 to 23, cold air will sweep haze weather. But on December 24, light to moderate will shroud central-southern North China and western Yellow-Huaihe basin again.

The National Meteorological Center issued yellow warning of heavy fog at 6:00 a.m. on December 20. During this morning to forenoon, heavy fog will shroud eastern Henan, central Anhui, northern and western Jiangsu, central-eastern Hubei, northern Hunan and Sichuan Basin. The severe heavy fog with visibility less than 200 meters will hit some parts of western Jiangsu, central Hubei and Sichuan Basin.

From December 20 to 22, light rain or shower will fall in the Yangtze-Huaihe basin, the Yangtze-Hanshui basin, South of the Yangtze River, South China, eastern and southern Southwest China. 

From December 21 to 23, scale 4-5 northerly winds will affect northern Xinjiang, central-northern Gansu, Inner Mongolia, Northeast China and North China. (Dec.20)
