Large scale precipitation and cold air to hit central-eastern parts

Influenced by cold air, from November 20 to 22, the temperature of eastern Xinjiang, Northwest China, northern Northeast China, western and northern North China, the Yangtze-Hanshui basin, eastern Southwest China and central-western South of the Yangtze River will drop by 4-8℃. In western Inner Mongolia and northern Shaanxi, the temperature will drop more than 10℃. These areas will experience scale 4-6 northerly winds and 7-9 gust.

From November 20 to 22, there will be light to moderate rain in eastern Southwest China, southern Yellow-Huaihe basin, the Yangtze-Hanshui basin, the Yangtze-Huaihe basin, South of the Yangtze River and South China. Heavy rain will affect northwestern South of the Yangtze River and the Yangtze-Huaihe basin when eastern Northwest China, northern West Sichuan Plateau, North China and central-southern Northeast China experience light to moderate snow or sleet. Heavy snow or snowstorm will fall in some parts of southeastern Northwest China and western North China. 

The National Meteorological Centre continues to issue blue warning of snowstorm at 6:00 a.m. on November 20. From November 20 to 21, heavy snow will affect south parts of Hetao of Inner Mongolia, northern Shaanxi, eastern Gansu, Ningxia, central Shanxi , South Xinjiang and eastern Heilongjiang. The new added snow depth will reach 4-8cm, even over 12cm in some areas. (Nov.20)
