The tropical depression of South Sea has made a landfall in coast of Qionghai, Hainan, at 9:00 a.m. on August10. Influenced by it, there will be continuous rainstorm in coast of South China from August 10 to 12. Today, extreme downpours will hit Hainan Island while southern coast of Guangdong experiences heavy rain or rainstorm. The National Meteorological Center continues to issue blue warning of rainstorm at 6:00 a.m. on August 10.

Meanwhile, the NMC also issued yellow warning of heatwave at 6:00 a.m. today. The highest temperature of some parts in western Inner Mongolia, western Gansu, Guanzhong of Shaanxi, central-southern Yangtze-Huaihe basin, central-eastern South of the Yangtze River, northern and eastern Hubei, eastern Chongqing, eastern Hunan, northern Guangxi and South Xinjiang Basin will reach 37-39℃.

This year’s 14th typhoon Yagi located over sea areas which about 1130 kilometers from Hualien, Taiwan. It will move towards coast of East China at the speed of 15-20 kilometers per hour and then enter into eastern coast of East Sea on night of August 11. (Aug.10)
