The National Meteorological Center forecasts that cold air will continue to hit central-eastern China in the next four days. From December 6 to 9, scale 4-6 northerly winds and 6-8℃ falling temperature will hit most parts of central-eastern China. The temperature of southeastern Northeast China, eastern Yellow-Huaihe basin, the Yangtze-Huaihe basin, central-eastern South of the Yangtze River, South China, Chongqing and central-southern Guizhou will drop by 8~10℃ even over 10℃. Scale 7-8 winds or scale 9-10 gale blow eastern and southern sea areas of China. On December 9, the 0℃ lowest temperature line will move towards south to reach middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. NMC continues to issue blue warning of cold wave.

Meanwhile, the Yangtze-Huaihe basin, South of the Yangtze River and South China will see more rain and snow weather.On December 8, sleet will hit the Yangtze-Huaihe basin, the Yangtze-Hanshui basin, northern and western South of the Yangtze River and central-northern Guizhou. Central-southern Jiangsu and Anhui, and Hubei will see heavy snow or snowstorm. Southwestern Hunan and southeastern Guizhou will experience freezing rain. (Dec.6)
