BERLIN, March 1 (Xinhua) -- At least two people were killed in Germany by a storm named "Emma" that slammed into Europe on Saturday, local media reported.

A man was killed while he was driving near the western town of Wissen as a tree toppled by the storm fell on his car,

In southern city of Oberpfaffenhofen, a 72-year-old man was hit by a car and died after he was thrown to the other side of the road by a wind gust while he was riding a motorbike.

A train conductor was injured when a high-speed train, the Inter City Express, struck a tree that fell in the storm. No passengers were injured.

With heavy rains and wind speed of up to 190 km per hour, "Emma" has caused massive delays in airports and railway stations in Germany and across Europe.     (Mar.3)
