On January 15, the two-day "China-European Countries Scientific Cooperation Workshop on Climatically Active and Health-related Trace Gases" was held at CMA.
8 foreign experts from Switzerland, Italy, Norway and Holland and Chinese experts from Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences, National Satellite Meteorological Center, CMA Institute of Urban Meteorology, Beijing University and Chinese Academy of Sciences attended the meeting.
Vice-president of Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences Zhang Xiaoye presided the opening ceremony.
Chinese side leader of SOGE-A project and chief scientist of Greenhouse Gases Team of CMA Atmospheric Composition Observation and Service Center Zhou Lingxi made report on SOGE-A Objectives and Relations to European and Global Networks. Both sides discussed the observation and analysis of greenhouse gases and related trace gases on climate change and depletion of the earth's ozone layer. (Jan.15)
