Recently the director of Education and Training Department of World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Jeffrey Wilson paid visit to Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology (NUIST).

    During his visit Jeffrey Wilson investigated the WMO Regional Training Center in the NUIST and learned more on its education, organization and management, experiment facilities and living conditions. He visited some units such as College of Atmospheric Science, College of Applied Meteorological Science, College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Key Laboratory of Meteorological Disaster and so on. He made report of “WMO and its activities” to the faculty and students. The secretary of party committee Liu Yiping and principal Li Lianshui of the NUIST introduced education development to the guest. (June 12)
