From June 17 to 21 the international training class for climate and climate change had investigated and studied in Qinghai. The class was held by the training center of China Meteorological Administration (CMA) and commissioned by Ministry of Commerce of PRC. There are nearly 50 students coming from over 30 Asian and African countries who are officials in charge of meteorological affairs, hydrological affairs, environment and disaster prevention and mitigation.
Their study in Qinghai mainly focused on meteorological science, the effect of the climate change and its solving measures, the climate change situation, the accommodation of the climate change and sustainable development. During their investigation and study the students went to the China Global Atmosphere Watch Baseline Observatory in Qinghai. On June 20 the director of Qinghai Meteorological Bureau and researcher Chen Xiaoguang made special lecture on “the effect of the climate change to northwest China and its adaptation”. (June 25)
