On December 11, executive meeting of Fujian provincial government discussed and adopted "The Special Plan for the Construction of Emergency Response System for Fujian's Public Emergency during the 'Eleventh Five-Year Plan' Period". The plan includes 9 key projects that involve the overall interest. Fujian Meteorological Bureau will undertake the issuance system of early warning on public emergency.

    The system is expected to shorten time-limits of meteorological disasters early warning within 30 minutes and increase coverage of meteorological forecast and early warning to 90 %.

   The system is in according with the National Special Plan for the Construction of Emergency Response System for Public Emergency during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" Period. Base on the issuance system of meteorological forecast and early warning, it issues early warning information for local branches and public through short messages, Meteorological Channel, TV, broadcast and cable TV network. It also is connected to National Early Warning Issuance Center and Command Platform for emergency response of Fujian provincial government and its related offices so as to cover the whole province.  (Yan Jiawei  Dec.13)
