XINJIANG: 117 Rocket projectiles for Artificial Snowfall 

 
    From Dec.7 to 8, Xinjiang weather modification office carried out large-scale artificial snowfall. Experts said that, this two artificial snowfall formed steady snow cover in Tianshan area, north of Xinjiang, which not only made winter wheat get through the winter safely, but also improved the situation of atmosphere pollution, as well as relieved the drought in this area.
