Recently, Two weak rainfalls with 10-50mm precipitation on Dec.15 -18 and Dec. 20 abated the heavy drought to some extent in Hunan province. Two weak rainfalls with 10-30mm precipitation on Dec.15 -18 and Dec. 20 abated the heavy drought to some extent. There was heavy drought this autumn this year in Hunan. The average rainfall in whole province is only 123mm, which was 46.6% less than that of the conventional years and 47.5% less than that of last year. And the rainfall was serious unbalance. Hunan Meteorological Bureau suggested that every regions should pay attention to saving water, fireproofing of forest and city, as well as taking care of some crops.（Xiang Delong ，Liao Yufang ) (Dec.21)
