Dec 20-21, Leaders and experts from Xinjiang, Urumchi Railway Station tested and passed the 11 railway gale intensive observation stations and 3 moving gale observation stations which designed and undertook by  Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Meteorological Bureau. These increased observation stations effectively strengthened the safety for Xinjiang main railway.

With the help of local railway and meteorological departments, the gale intensive observation system played an important role in the lasting gale in May and more than 10 scales gale in Jul.28 and Aug. 12, and guaranteed safety to customers.

The Xinjiang Railway Gale Observation System attracted attention to merchants from all around the world in the 8th China International Exhibition for Railway Modernization in Beijing this September. (Pan Jipeng Dec.24)
