In recent, under control of steady air mass, snowfall in Heilongjiang is on the low side and air is relatively dry, together with the more particulates in air because of coal-firing heating, smog or haze has lasting for about one month at Heilongjiang.  
 
    On December 26, Heilongjiang suffered this winter's most serious smog, and Harbin, capital city of Heilongjiang, was covered with smog all day.

    According to latest meteorological data, affected by a weak cold air, snow will occurred at Heilongjiang by the end of this month and take away the lasting smog. (Ma Xuqing   Ren Guilin  Dec.27)
