After the earthquake jolted Wenchuan County of Sichuan Province, provincial meteorological bureaus of other provinces have immediately given their support to Sichuan Provincial Meteorological Bureau.

    In the morning of May 13, Jiangsu Provincial Meteorological Bureau sent the comfort letter and offered financial assistance to Sichuan Provincial Meteorological Bureau. In the afternoon, Hunan Provincial Meteorological Bureau urgently raised money for the disaster resistance and relief in disaster region of Sichuan. Many other provincial meteorological bureaus also have telephoned or sent comfort letter to Sichuan and expressed that they would try their best to support the meteorological departments in the disaster region to fight the battle of disaster resistance and relief.

    Sichuan Provincial Meteorological Bureau is deeply moved by the support of other provincial meteorological bureaus. The meteorological personnel of Sichuan unanimously express that they will work hard to win the battle of this especially severe earthquake disaster and rebuild their homeland as early as possible.
