At 6:00 a.m. June 30 the Central Meteorological Office (CMO) released new convective weather forecast:

    It is forecasted that from day to night of today there will be thunder and lightening weather in northwestern areas of Xinjiang, southeast of Shaanxi, central and eastern Inner-Mongolia, most part of northeast China, north China, most of the Yellow River and the Huai River Basin, central and eastern of the areas between the Yangtze River and the Huai River, central and eastern of south of the Yangtze River, southeastern of Guangdong and Guangxi, Hainan, most of Sichuan, west of Chongqing and north of Yunnan. There will be strong convective weather occurring such as thunder shower gale and hail.         

    The concerned areas should make preparation to prevent and fight the hazard and try best to reduce the damages brought by lightning, gale and hail. (June 30)
