On July 3 Beijing initiated hourly sky conditions intensive observation for the upcoming 2008 Olympic Games. According to the arrangement of the Beijing Olympic Meteorological Service Center, during the period of July 3 to September 20 the observatory station of Beijing south suburb and stations of Changping, Chaoyang, Haidian, Fengtai, Shijingshan and Shunyi will carry out hourly sky conditions intensive observation.  (July 4)
