The closing ceremony of the Universiade will not be affected by weather condition

At 8:30 of August 21, Central Meteorological Office (CMO) organized special consultation meeting to discuss the weather condition of the closing ceremony of the Universiade. CMO, State Key Laboratory of disastrous weather of Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences, Guangzhou Central Meteorological Observatory and Shenzhen Meteorological Observatory consulted the weather condition of the rehearsal on August 21 and the closing ceremony on August 23.

It is reported that on the 2 days, typhoon and sustainable rainfall will not hit. In the noon of August 21, there will be short-term rainfall or thundershower in Shenzhen, it will be sunny to overcast in the evening with force 1 to 3 winds. Such weather condition will not affect the rehearsal. In the daytime of August 23, some regions will get short-term rainfall or thundershower. It will be overcast in the evening with south winds, which will not affect the closing ceremony.

In addition, in recent days, the air quality of Shenzhen has been well. The visibility has been 25 to 30km. (Aug 21)
