China Meteorological Administration (CMA) donated CMACast and Meteorological Information Comprehensive Analysis and Process System (MICAPS) to the Asian developing countries at the 40th China Study Tour and Regional WIS Training Seminar opened on 11 April 2011 in Beijing. From this year, CMA begans to and equip CMACast and MICAPS for these countries.

From March 12 to 17 2012, the experts from National Meteorological Center of CMA and Huayun Xingditong Corporation went to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH) of Lao People's Democratic Republic (Laos) to equip the CMACast and MICAPS system and carry out training.

In Laos, the Chinese experts finished the on-site equipping and test of CMACast, data reception, the transmission of MICAPS data and operation training for the forecasters. Besides that, the DMH of Laos received the donation of technological books and files from CMA. (Mar. 21)
