Preventive Measures

In 48 hours, minimum temperature will drop at least 8 degrees Celsius, with minimum temperature lower than or equal to 4 degrees, and average land wind up to scale 5; or the temperature has dropped at least 8 degrees with minimum temperature lower than or equal to 4 degrees and average land wind up to scale 5, and this is likely to continue.

1.       Government and related sectors should do preparation work for cold wave;

2.       The people in affected areas should wear warm clothes;

3.       Tropical plants and aquatic products should be protected;

4.       Take preventive measures for wind.

In 24 hours, minimum temperature will drop at least 10 degrees Celsius, with minimum temperature lower than or equal to 4 degrees, and average land wind up to scale 6; or the temperature has dropped at least 10 degrees with minimum temperature lower than or equal to 4 degrees and average land wind up to scale 6, and this is likely to continue.

1.       Government and related sectors should do preparation work for cold wave;

2.       The people in affected areas should wear warm clothes; the old, weak, and sick people should be taken care.

3.       Livestock, poultry, tropical/subtropical fruits and aquatic products and crops should be protected;

4.       Take preventive measures for wind.  

In 24 hours, minimum temperature will drop at least 12 degrees Celsius, with minimum temperature lower than or equal to 0 degrees, and average land wind up to scale 6; or the temperature has dropped at least 12 degrees with minimum temperature lower than or equal to 0 degrees and average land wind up to scale 6, and this is likely to continue.

1.       Government and related sectors should do a good job for cold wave emergency;

2.       The people in affected areas should wear warm clothes;    

3.       The sectors of agriculture, aquaculture, livestock raising, and others should take active measures for frost, icing and others;

4.       Take preventive measure for wind.

In 24 hours, minimum temperature will drop at least 16 degrees Celsius, with minimum temperature lower than or equal to 0 degrees, and average land wind up to scale 6; or the temperature has dropped at least 16 degrees with minimum temperature lower than or equal to 0 degrees and average land wind up to scale 6, and this is likely to continue.

2.       The people in affected areas should wear warm clothes;   

3.       The sectors of agriculture, aquaculture, livestock raising, and others should take active measures for frost, icing and others;

4.       Take preventive measure for wind.
