The Philippines will be affected by Typhoon Bavi and its outer rainbands starting on July 9, 2026, with heavy to torrential rainfall. From July 9 to 11, accumulated precipitation is forecast to reach 100–300 mm, with localized totals exceeding 400 mm (Figure 1). Winds of force 5-6, with gusts of force 7-8, will sweep across the Philippines from south to north.
