Besides, CMA and WMO jointly launched the "World Meteorological Day Theme in My Mind" Collection Activity on this pivotal day for the general public, scientific researchers, meteorological enthusiasts, students to submit their version of a WMD theme. This activity is aimed to enhance public awareness of weather and climate, advocate more people to engage in climate change mitigation and adaptation, improve public understanding of meteorological work, and better disseminate China's wisdom and experience in disaster prevention and mitigation, as well as response to climate change.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in partnership with the World Meteorological Organization launched Weather Kids campaign, calls for urgent climate action for the next generations. The Chinese version of "the 2050 forecast" campaign was jointly organized by CMA and UNDP. Children were able to predict the weather in their eyes for the next 30 years.
This memorable day has aroused the attention and interest of the entire society. Over 10 departments, institutions and organizations in China have joined hands with the official Weibo of CMA and published special poster for WMD, urging the public to take climate action and safeguard our home.
Meteorological departments in many regions in China have carried out activities on campus to popularize meteorological knowledge and aroused the interests of students to learn about climate knowledge and proactively take climate action. Tianjin Meteorological Service and Tianjin 14th Middle School jointly conducted "Exploration of meteorological mysteries, and integrating science and education to educate people" activity on campus, and incorporated it into educational and teaching system about learning lecture. Hainan Provincial Meteorological Disaster Prevention Technology Center together with a few departments and institutions went to Zhangxian Branch of Lingshui Gangpo Primary School to send a package of "meteorological science popularization" to students, opening up the "last kilometer" of meteorological science popularization.

Excellent traditional culture constitutes an important nutrient and driving force for the development of meteorological science popularization. Shanghai Meteorological Service collaborated with Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regional Meteorological Service to dig deep into the cultural connotations of 24 Solar Terms with regional characteristics, and crafted meteorological data products to show the unique cultural charm of the Spring Equinox and inject new connotations into meteorological science popularization.
