On April 28, the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) International Cooperation and Training Centre (CMA ICTC) was established.

Special invitees from the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) of the People's Republic of China, the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), and Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology (NUIST) attended this event and delivered speeches, both online and offline.

CMA ICTC relies on the construction of CMA Training Centre (CMATC), the relevant institutions under CMA and the relevant provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) Meteorological Service are members. It is a functional platform and training base for meteorological capability building, which undertakes work regarding CMA's international cooperation and exchanges, international training, relevant research, etc.
