Being responsible for the foreign affairs falling upon China's meteorological service; administering and sponsoring the cooperation and exchanges with the World Meteorological Organization and other international organizations as well as with other National Meteorological Services; and dealing with the meteorological affairs related to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan region.
