The National Meteorological Centre released orange warning of rainstorm at 6:00 p.m. on May 11. On May 12 and 13, sustained heavy rain will continue to plague South China. From May 14, precipitation scale will scale back with a diminishing intensity. 

According to NMC, heavy rain to rainstorm will affect Guangxi, Guangdong, Fujian, southern Jiangxi, southern Zhejiang, southwestern Guizhou, eastern and western Yunnan, and western Sichuan Basin. Heavy downpour will wallop central-eastern Guangdong, eastern Guangxi, and southwestern Fujian. (May. 12)
