From March 15 to 17, cold air bring 4-8℃ temperature dropping to hit northern Xinjiang, central-eastern Northwest China, Inner Mongolia, Northeast and North China, the Yellow-Huaihe basin, the Yangtze-Huaihe basin and northern South of the Yangtze River. In parts of eastern Inner Mongolia and northern Heilongjiang, the temperature will drop over 14℃. The gale will blow in Inner Mongolia, Northeast, northern Northwest, eastern North China, eastern the Yangtze-Huaihe basin and the Yangtze-Huaihe basin.

The National Meteorological Centre issued yellow warning of sandstorm at 6:00 am on March 15. Influenced by cold air and gale, from March 15 to 16, there will be blowing sand or floating dust in South Xinjiang Basin and eastern Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, southwestern Heilongjiang, western Jilin, western Liaoning, Gansu, Ningxia, northern Shaanxi, Shanxi, Hebei, Beijing and Tianjin. Some areas of western Inner Mongolia, Gansu, northern Ningxia, northern Shaanxi, northern Shanxi, central-northern Hebei and Beijing will experience sandstorm. Severe sandstorm will shroud parts of western Inner Mongolia, northern Ningxia, northern Shaanxi and northern Shanxi.

Sand weather forecast

In the coming three days, moderate to heavy snow will affect northern Xinjiang, northeastern Inner Mongolia, and northern Northeast China. Eastern Northwest China, the Yellow-Huaihe basin will see light to moderate rain. Eastern the Yangtze-Hanshui basin, the Yangtze -Huaihe basin and northern South of the Yangtze River will experience moderate to heavy rain. (Mar.15)
