The National Meteorological Center predicts that in the next 10 days, rainy weather will grip Southwest China, South of the Yangtze River Region, and South China. The scale will mainly be moderate to heavy rain. Cumulative rainfall from September 9 to 13 in the border areas of Sichuan, Chongqing, and Guizhou may breach historical extremes.
On September 9, southeastern Sichuan, and northeastern Yunnan will be exposed to heavy rain to rainstorm. On September 10, heavy rain to rainstorm will grip southeastern Sichuan, northern Guizhou, southeastern Hubei, northeastern Hunan, and northwestern Jiangxi. On September 11, heavy rain to rainstorm will hit northeastern Sichuan, northwestern Chongqing, northeastern Jiangxi, and northwestern Fujian.
Affected by the remaining circulation of typhoon Haishen, on the daytime of September 9, rainfall will pronouncedly dwindle. Moderate to heavy rain will grip Jilin and Heilongjiang. From September 10 to 15, most portions of Northeast China will usher sunny weather. (Sep. 9)
