On March 23, the Jiangsu Meteorological Service opened and held the series of activities for World Meteorological Day to help the public further understand “the Sun, the Earth and the Weather". As a visiting card of Jiangsu meteorology field, the Beijige Meteorological Museum is also open to the public throughout the day. The meteorological volunteers produced the exhibition boards, and also placed various meteorological technology products. The museum introduces the history of meteorological development from ancient times to the present, and displays various historical meteorological instruments.

The Modern Pavilion of museum has the large-scale video playback systems -- Science On Sphere, attracting many people to watch and recognize the meteorological knowledge..(March 23)
