The National Meteorological Centre continued to release blue warning of typhoon at 6:00 a.m. on on July 6.

Tropical depression is projected to move northwestern direction at the speed of 25 km/h with a gaining intensity. It will develop into typhoon in the next 12 hours, and is expected to make landfall in coastal regions from Shanwei, Guangdong to Zhangpu, Fujian (scale 7-8, 15-20m/s).

Gale Forecast: from July 6 to 7, scale 6-7 gale will shroud Bashi Channel, Taiwan Strait, South China Sea, Beibu Gulf, Xisha Islands, Zhongsha Islands, Nansha Islands, and coastal regions of southern Taiwan Island, southern Fujian, western Guangxi and Guangdong.

Precipitation Forecast: from July 6 to 7, heavy rain or rainstorm will grip southeastern Taiwan Island, southeastern Fujian, southern and eastern Hainan Island, Xisha Islands, Zhongsha Islands, Nansha Islands, and other regions. (July. 6)
