Recently, the Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television of Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, has included the Yingkou Centennial Meteorological Station in the choicest winter tourism route, attracting many citizens and tour groups to visit. "Compared with previous winters, the number of visitors has significantly increased." ZHANG Zhichao, a docent at the Yingkou Centennial Meteorological Station, said.
Yingkou Meteorological Station was established in 1904 to observe meteorological elements such as air pressure, air temperature, humidity, water vapor, wind direction and speed, precipitation, evaporation, snow depth, cloudiness, sunshine, ground temperature and so on.

At the Yingkou Meteorological Service, monthly and annual reports and multi-year statistics from 1905 to 1942 are still well kept, which are the earliest meteorological observation data preserved in Yingkou.
In November 2022, the Exhibition Hall was added with a new scene displaying how meteorologists worked, while the meteorological cultural plaza expanded.
