Its average temperature in summer ranges from 14℃ to 25℃, serving as an exceedingly agreeable summer resort. In addition, the average winter temperature of its urban area registers about -14.7℃, with the average precipitation of about 15.9 mm. Located at a northern latitude of 45 degrees very appropriate for skiing, the natural climate resources endowment have further facilitated Harbin to raise its profile as a tourist resort for ice and snow tourism.
